Opening Ceremony

The Games Opening Ceremony will be held on the evening of Saturday January 14th at the Geelong Arena - 110 Victoria Street, Nth Geelong.

The Geelong Arena is an indoor facility seating 1,800 people and has been host to prominent National and International competitions inclusive of the 2006 Commonwealth Games, Australian Masters Games and the National Basketball League. Recent live concerts at the arena have been Suzi Quatro, Jimmy Barnes, Kelly Clarkson, The Cat Empire and Shannon Noll.

Individual Ticket Prices:

Opening Ceremony @ The Arena on 14th January from 5.30pm
Adults: $50
Senior/ Concession: $35
Youth/ Volunteers: $25

Children aged 12 and under will be free but may be required to be seated on parent or guardian’s lap.

Payment and ticket collection can be arranged at the Games Hub prior to the opening and closing ceremonies.
