AUSTRALIAN DEAF GAMES NEWSFLASH!
25 May 2015
With just over 6 months to go and Games preparations ramping up, we’ve made some big changes in the Games Organising Committee.
The 2016 Australian Deaf Games is getting bigger and bigger, so we need to make sure we’ve got the best structure in place to deliver the best Games ever!
Caroline Conlon has decided to step down from the full-time Event Manager position for personal reasons. So Johanna Plante who is currently the 2016 ADG Business Manager will expand her role to become Games Project Manager, with responsibility for project managing the whole Games.
But Caroline is not leaving the team completely. She will now focus exclusively on the Opening & Closing Ceremonies and the Games Hub Social/Cultural Program.
All the GOC Coordinators will continue to work on their individual portfolios, but will also work together in small project teams.
As things get busier we’ll need more and more help. So if you’re interested in working with the 2016 ADG Team over the next 6 months please contact Johanna.
For information on anything to do with the Games please send an email or text message to [email protected] or 0401 538 552 and direct your enquiry to the appropriate GOC Coordinator as listed below:
